Have you ever lived or worked somewhere that has absolutely no view of outside? Or if you do have a window, it faces a brick wall or an alley with garbage dumpsters or something equally unappealing. After a while, you start to feel starved for a view, but often it’s not practical (or even possible) to leave where you are to spend some time elsewhere.

Atmoph Window wants to help you with that. These aren’t actually windows, of course, but rather HD monitors capable of streaming 4K videos and sound. The difference between Atmoph and a regular TV is that it’s “always on”, providing a constant stream of beauty in your otherwise dull and boring room. Atmoph has a 27-inch high-contrast display and a 3-watt speaker, so you won’t just see the tropical beach you wish you were on, but you’ll hear the waves crashing against the sand as well.

Currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, Atmoph Window has about three weeks to go in their campaign and are about 2/3 of the way to their goal. Early Bird backing is still available, where a pledge of at least $499.00 US gets you one Atmoph Window with your choice of oak, walnut, white, or black frame. Each one comes with pre-installed 4K videos, but you can download more videos using your Wi-Fi network or connect to your Android or iPhone for more variety. It has 32GB of storage, which holds quite a few different videos.

In addition to streaming video, Atmoph can be programmed to play certain videos at certain times, is also a clock with an alarm, and can display your current weather or your calendar. A simple wave of your hand in front of the screen will display its settings so you can make changes with ease.
