How The Blind Watch YouTube Stephen Fung April 2, 2007 The blind and vision-impaired Web users will soon be able to see online videos thanks to the invention of a blind IBM Japan employee. Instead of using the mouse, the new “Accessibility Browser” will feature special shortcut keys that will give visually disabled users better control of video content without having to hunt for the buttons with a mouse. It will also include the ability to modulate the level of the sound from various audio sources like the descriptive audio programs used in many sources designed for the blind.
