When Windows 10 is released, those using Windows tablets smaller than 8 inches will be using a different version than those using the desktop client and those using Windows Phone, though it will be closer to the mobile platform and will run Windows Phone and Universal apps.

Zac Bowden over at WinBeta got a chance to check out this very early version of Windows 10 for smaller tablets and provided a lot of screenshots of his experience. You can expect the UI to change a reasonable amount given that we’re so far from RTM.

His experience was positive, saying it feels great and the apps are all designed to scale. He mentions the three-dot menu in the below screenshot as an easy way to navigate to other tasks. Be sure to check out his full impressions and see all of his screenshots, but we’ve posted a few below, too.
