Holy Thunderstorm, Batman! Beth Snyder June 21, 2010 I started to do this post about three hours ago when the storm first started moving through the area, in case I lost power. And then I was rudely interrupted by a tornado warning that lasted for over an hour (love listening to the sirens that long…NOT!), which included what they’re 80% sure was a touchdown less than a mile from my house. I still have power and a house, but it was a very interesting evening for a bit there. At least now my basement bathroom is stocked with food, candles, flashlights, a couple of blankets, food and bottled water! I did have to giggle at myself, though…I was sitting on the floor because I’d put my desktop tower and laptop on the bench.
