You Would Never Know Beth Snyder June 22, 2010 After not getting to sleep until well after 6am, I finally dragged myself out of bed a little after noon today. Looked outside, and you would never know we had a storm at all. I mean, yeah, the sidewalks are still a bit wet, but considering the fact that it sounded as if they were filming a remake of War of the Worlds on my roof last night…NOTHING. The plant pots didn’t blow off the porch. My empty plastic trash container didn’t even move an inch. I’m not complaining of course, because it’s not as if I wanted huge storm damage, but after living through that it amazes me.
