Better late than never to get into the Hallowe’en spirit, right? Today we celebrate Mary Shelley, primarily, but also Boris Karloff. Without them, there would be no Frankenstein monster. However, if you’ve read the original book, you know it bears little to no resemblance to the movies made since. If you’ve not read the book, you really should. It’s pretty darn fabulous. Just realize you shouldn’t expect a printed version of the movie, or you’ll be disappointed.
