Dropbox Launches Paper Beta Dylan Duarte October 15, 2015 News Have you heard of Paper? No, not archaic tree shavings, but Dropbox’s new collaborative document editor that was designed to do battle with Google, Microsoft, and anyone else who offers a similar service. Paper is a web-only app that allows multiple users to write and edit documents in real-time with a to-do list feature that makes it easy to keep track of what needs to be done. Using Dropbox links, you can throw documents from your computer onto the service, as well as photo galleries, and anyone can comment or even apply custom stickers. Stickers and paper! What a grand future this is! I hope someone invents pencils. Are you excited? Well, keep it in check, because Paper is not just web-only but also invite-only, which means that you need to jump through a few hoops to get access, and it’s not guaranteed at all. Limiting your userbase is no way to stick it to your rivals, Dropbox. Even I know that. Share This With The World!
