As you all are very aware, I have a thing for flash drives. I also have a thing for MIMOBOT, because they have some of the best ones I have ever seen. This year’s Comic-Con in San Diego is, of course, one of the best places for them to debut some very cool new ones, and they have not disappointed. This line is primarily limited editions, and it features several well-known characters from movies and TV shows. The first six drives were unveiled over the last few weeks, but they saved the last few for Comic-Con. Each one is, of course, pre-loaded with exclusive Mimory® content including the MimoByte® sound software, MimoDesk® wallpapers, icons, and avatars as you’ve come to expect. But these also contain TV episodes and/or digital comic books.

The three here are a Star Trek Into Darkness Klingon Captain (only 1,000 available), Adventure Time Marceline, and a limited edition (only 400 created) Core Series Galaxor2. They’ve also made unlimited editions of Cartman and Dead Kenny from South Park and Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony. Limited editions in this series are Mysterion from South Park (850), Blake from Workaholics (1,000), Chewbacca (1,000), Ice King from Adventure Time (850), and a variant on their Bruce Lee drive (400). You can also pick up a special edition My Little Pony Fan Favorite Pony (850).

Pricing, of course, depends on how much storage capacity you want. These are available from 8GB through 128GB, with prices ranging from $24.95 US to $129.95 US. The 32GB versions are USB 3.0, while the others are USB 2.0. These are all available for the first time at Comic-Con, but you’ll also be able to buy them from other sellers, at least until they run out.

Star Trek Into Darkness Klingon Captain MIMOBOT, edition of 1000, in collaboration with CBS Consumer Products. Klingon Captain is Mimoco’s first plunge into the universe launched by the major motion picture Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness. As one of the few alien races to show up in every series, it was only a matter of time before the Klingons had a MIMOBOT of their very own. Klingon Captain MIMOBOT comes with a helmet which, when removed, reveals a menacing grimace underneath. Only 1000 Klingon Captain MIMOBOTs are being manufactured, so get your hands on them before Kirk does!

Just don’t do anything stupid like eat her French fries, steal her shirt, or wear something red, and you’ll be fine. Now that she’s joined the MIMOBOT ranks alongside her friends Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Fiona, BMO Rainbow, and the LTD. ED. Ice King you can have the whole Adventure Time crew ready to protect your memories!

“Eight years ago we ventured to change the face of electronics in the guise of designer toys.” says Mimoco CEO Evan Blaustein. “Now that we’re working with so many great licensing partners, it’s clear that our vision has come into focus. At Comic-Con 2013, we’re proud of our greatest MIMOBOT roster yet. Each year at SDCC represents another birthday milestone for Mimoco, and this year more than ever we’re excited for what the future holds. Here’s to another eight years!”

See all twelve of Mimoco’s new Mimobots for the first time at their booth in the Toy Grower section (#5338) or in the Star Wars Pavilion (#2913M) at San Diego Comic-Con International.
