CES 2013: The Seagate Wireless Plus Dylan Duarte January 13, 2013 The other day we showed you the Corsair Voyager Air, an impressive portable storage device that allows you to stream digital content wirelessly. It looks like Corsair is going to face serious competition from the Seagate Wireless Plus, Seagate’s “spiritual” successor to 2011’s Satellite. I say “spiritual” because Seagate isn’t exactly advertising this new device as the Satellite 2.0. It’s a whole new beast. The Wireless Plus offers 1TB of storage that allows up to eight devices to connect to it via Wi-Fi and stream digital content. On a full charge, the Wireless Plus can last up to 10 hours. It can also act as a Wi-Fi hub, so for instance if you go to a hotel that charges you individual fees for each device you connect to their Wi-Fi, you can simply connect the Wireless Plus and then effortlessly stream it to the rest of your devices. All of this power comes in a sleek and compact design that will be available immediately for a retail price of $200. via CNET Share This With The World!
