You just strap it on your knee as you would a regular knee pad (it closes with hook and loop straps, so it’s adjustable for legs up to 13 1/4″), decide which mode you want, and you’re off. It combines LED light treatment, compression massage, and vibration to ease your pain. Note that it won’t actually cure anything, and if you’ve been injured, you should definitely consult with your doctor before using it to avoid any potential problems. The hard shell surrounds your kneecap with a ring of 12 red LEDs, the light from which penetrates deep into tissue to increase circulation, speed healing, and ease pain. While that’s going on, the nodes in the shell vibrate to massage away your pain. You get to choose between four different treatment modes as well as four different lengths of time, and the control panel mounted right on top lets you adjust mid-session if necessary. The unit itself is 7″ L x 4 3/4″ W x 3 1/2″ D, weighs 1 1/4 pounds, and comes with a 5-foot cord to plug directly into AC power.
