If you can’t wait for the LG V20 to come out and play in a couple weeks, then you can go ahead and get your taste of Android Nougat right now. Today. Right this moment. That is assuming that you’ve got one of the eligible Nexus devices to get the newest version of Google’s mobile operating system.

The official build of Android Nougat 7.0 has officially been unleashed upon the world. You may have dabbled in the beta builds these last few weeks, but this marks the first roll out of the final build even though we have yet to see this year’s Nexus devices from HTC. Starting today, you’ll be able to get Android Nougat on your Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, and Pixel C, as well as the Android One General Mobile 4G.

Several of the new features are highlighted on Android.com, including:

  • 72 new emoji
  • Native multi-window view
  • Quick switch between apps
  • Vulkan API for better 3D graphics
  • Virtual reality mode
  • Doze on the Go for battery saving
  • Rearrange quick settings
  • Direct reply within notifications
  • Bundled notifications (above)
  • Change the size of text, icons and experience
  • Direct boot
  • File-based encryption

What’s your favorite new feature in Android Nougat? Multi-tasking could prove useful, like how you might already enjoy on some Samsung devices. The bundled notifications should help to keep things a little tidier too.
