Amazon Places Kindle Vending Machines in Las Vegas Airport for CES Attendees Dylan Duarte January 9, 2014 Do you need something to keep you occupied on the trip back from CES? Why not just swing by an Amazon Kindle vending machine and pick yourself up a nice e-reader or tablet? The company has placed machines in McCarranInternationalAirport in Las Vegas in attempt to persuade CES attendees to do just that. This isn’t the first time Amazon has sold Kindles in this fashion, doing so in San Francisco a few months ago, but it sure is a rarity. The machines, which were installed earlier this week, are selling both Fire tablets and the E ink display models for the same price as Amazon’s online store. According to Amazon, the customer response has been good. MEGATech News’s Michael Kwan and Stephen Fung will be flying back from Las Vegas tomorrow. Hey guys, can one of you pick me up a Kindle Fire HDX? Thanks. via The Verge Share This With The World!
