Acer Rumored to Debut Four New Phones at IFA Dylan Duarte July 30, 2015 News The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, more commonly called the IFA, is right around the corner, scheduled to take place September 4th through 9th in Berlin. Exhibitors and visitors both are gearing up for the show, and it’s reported that Acer plans to unveil four new smartphones. Acer isn’t new to the smartphone business, but they’re definitely a PC hardware company first and foremost. With Windows 10 Mobile scheduled for later this year, it’s assumed that the new phones will all run Microsoft’s newest mobile OS. The scoop comes from @rquandt on Twitter, who also says that although the phones will debut at the show, they won’t launch until Q4 2015 after the Windows 10 Mobile launch. What we don’t have are any details, so we don’t know what range these phones will fit in. With four different phones debuting, there’s a decent chance that Acer will introduce some sort of combination of low-end, mid-range, and high-end phones, but we won’t know for sure until the beginning of September.
