ZenFone 2 Coming to North America on Tuesday Dylan Duarte May 18, 2015 News Life can be pretty stressful, so it’s important that you find your zen. And if you can’t find your zen, at the very least find a ZenFone, the newest of which will be available in North America starting tomorrow! The ZenFone 2 was announced at this year’s CES and at a press event earlier today Asus announced the phablet’s impending arrival. The ZenFone 2 sports a 5.5-inch, 1080p display and a brushed aluminum finish. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus’ own custom UI. On the inside, the phone sports a 2.3Ghz, 64-bit quad-core chip processor (low-end version will have 1.8Ghz processor), 4GB RAM (low end: 2GB), and a 3,000mAh battery. A fast charging system can bring a dead battery to a 60 percent charge in 39 minutes. The 13MP camera takes pictures that are “400 percent brighter” and has an “industry leading” low light mode. It also has a “super resolution” mode that creates 52MP images. So yeah, it has a serious camera. Asus will not be selling the ZenFone 2 through carriers, but instead through online retailers such as Amazon. In the US, it will be $299 for the high-end 64GB ZenFone 2 and $199 for the low-end 16GB version. Canada will pay $249 and $379CDN. Share This With The World!
