Windows 10 May Start Offering Android App Support Dylan Duarte April 28, 2015 News Windows’ mobile game has a bit of an uphill battle fighting against the well established iOS and Android operation systems and it’s not surprising that the area where Microsoft is really lacking is its meager offering of mobile software. They might have just come up with a creative solution to that problem by offering Windows 10 users support for Android apps, but it offers its own set of problems. This is just a rumor at this point, but according to Mobile Syrup it comes from well-respected Microsoft insider Paul Thurrott. According to Thurrott, this may be just a temporary solution to Microsoft’s weak mobile offering, and one would think so with all of the effort Microsoft has poured into universal app support. While this may be good news for Windows Phone users, it may be terrible news for developers. BlackBerry did the same thing by supporting Android and Amazon Appstore and it ended up doing more harm than good in regards to their developer community. If this is true, it’s a questionable move, so hopefully we’ll get some answers from Microsoft soon. Share This With The World!
