Verizon Gets BlackBerry Z30 on November 14 Dylan Duarte November 12, 2013 My first smartphone was a BlackBerry. Even if I’ve come to love Android, I’ll always have a special place in my heart reserved for the former, so I’m glad to see them attempting a comeback. The BlackBerry Z30 is the latest step in that comeback and it will hit the Verizon catalog on November 14 for $200 on-contract. The new 5-inch phone is exclusively available through Verizon in the United States; it’s already available in Canada through Bell Mobility, Telus Mobility and Rogers Wireless. The Z30 will give you BlackBerry’s latest 10.2 update, which comes with things like in-app BBM messaging and the BB Priority Hub. The phone also uses wireless charging. BlackBerry’s fate is still up in the air, which may make consumers slightly apprehensive about picking up the Z30. For what it’s worth, it seems like a solid buy, especially for $200.
