The Pepsi Phone P1 is Official Dylan Duarte November 20, 2015 News Remember that Pepsi phone that we all thought was a cola-fueled fever dream? Well, it wasn’t. The Pepsi Phone P1 is official. Not only that, but it’s ridiculously impressive for a phone from a soda company. The P1 will come sporting a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D display, a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor / Mali 450-MP4 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (with microSD slot), dual SIM slots, 13 megapixel rear camera, five megapixel front camera, a fingerprint sensor, all the connectivity options you would expect and of course Android 5.1 Lollipop. What’s even more impressive is that the phone will only cost $200 when and if it becomes available. The phone has officially been announced, but it’s being crowdfunded in China, so there’s always a chance it won’t meet it’s goal. However, the early bird offers of the P1 at $78 have already sold out, so there’s obviously some interest. Of course if it is funded, the Pepsi Phone P1 is likely to stay in China. That’s fine with me, I’m saving my money for the Mountain Dew Gamer Fuel phone. Share This With The World!
