The News: Wednesday, August 7 Edition

Yesterday the whole sitting out in the yard thing didn’t work out so well, because while it never did rain it certainly was humid and actually a bit chilly. Instead, I slept a fair portion of the day away, then made some jewelry, then spent some quality time with a good book. There are definitely worse ways to spend a day off. Today I’m looking at more of the same, except without quite as much sleeping since I think I’m caught up now. Definitely jewelry-making, because although it looks like one of my shows fell through, I do still have two others in September and I’ve got an amazing number of design ideas roaming around in my head.
