Yesterday was, in all, a pretty darn fine day! While my niece was over I arranged for delivery of a the printer I bought my mother for Christmas. It’s an HP something-or-other (I used to know, but it’s not in front of me) which normally sells for almost $500 new. Got mine used for about 1/10 of that, plus I threw in a little extra because she delivered it to my house. I also managed to get out of the house and out to the road to get the mail, as well as bathing, washing my hair and changing my clothes. It’s amazing the little things you take for granted that become incredibly hard when you’re not allowed to use your right leg even so much as for balance. Now I’m ensconced in my recliner with snacks and some soda to watch my NFL game…turns out I get to win with the TV when it’s impossible for me to leave to watch the game somewhere else.
