Originally, I had a number of things to blather on about here, but the last few days have put a lot of things in perspective for me. In light of the attacks in Beirut and Paris and the ongoing struggle entirely too many people worldwide face every single day, when simply getting up in the morning carries risk, I have been counting my blessings. Are there things that suck? You bet! But I am fortunate to have things to complain about when others have so little. I am lucky to go to work without fear that I will not come home simply because I was doing my job. I am blessed to have family and friends surrounding me who support me, and I in turn support them. Look around you, and give thanks for what you have. You never know what could happen.
