The News: Sunday, July 7 Edition

So here I am, two days from having to go home. I don’t want to, although I am ready to sleep in my own bed again. All good things must come to an end, and my checking account is informing me in no uncertain terms that I’m going to need to work again really, really soon. But really…I take one, sometimes two, vacations a year maximum, so I tend to splurge when I go somewhere. And there are just so darn many fabulous places to eat and buy things here that I just can’t help myself. With any luck at all, when we go back to the bead store tomorrow I’ll be able to make arrangements with them for shipping the small crystal accent beads I love that I’ve only ever been able to find there. That’ll take a lot of the pressure off needing to drop huge money every time I go there.
