The News: Monday, June 3 Edition

Work this week is turning out to be a bonus for me all the way around…I love when that happens! Today I’m working the first concert of the summer at the fabulous outdoor venue in a local botanical gardens and sculpture park, and since I get to be a department head I’ll get to be there for the show instead of having to come home and go back later on. It’s an artist I’ve wanted to see most of my life, so I’m very excited. Then, our AHL team ended up winning yesterday, so they’ll be home on Tuesday. Originally I was supposed to work some kind of corporate thing on Tuesday, but now I’ll be doing the game. That game will determine if I’m working Wednesday or not; if we win, I won’t. But if they win, then it pushes the series to a game seven.

Well, shoot. I got distracted by my life again. This one will be a roundup post as well, since there’s been another launch.
