It never fails to amaze me how many things I can cram into a day off while still managing to sleep in. Today I have transferred several herbs from their pots to my garden, done three loads of laundry, did all my dishes, and created a new recipe for dinner. Then after dinner my niece and her kids are coming to pick me up directly after dinner so we can head to the beach to watch the sunset over the big lake, and I’ll be spending the night at their house. I had originally promised myself I wouldn’t bother to get dressed today, but seeing my kids is worth putting on pants.

OK, so I wrote all of that and started to do the post, and our email website was down. And then I left. So now it’s quite some number of hours later and it looks like I was slacking, but whatever.
