Staples Launching 3D Printing Pilot Service Dylan Duarte April 11, 2014 While I’ve yet to experience it first-hand, I feel like 3D printing is one of the most exciting things to come along in my lifetime and I can’t wait until I get my hands on a 3D printer so I can print all sorts of inane garbage. For now, however, I’ll just have to go to Staples. You can’t just go to any Staples, mind you, but two US locations – in New York and Los Angeles – have launched a 3D printing service that may spread to other locations across the country. This service already exists in Europe and this is the company’s stab at the US market. Customers will need their own 3D file and the job will be limited to whatever materials the store has, with bigger 3D printing projects being outsourced if the store can’t handle them. via SlashGear Share This With The World!
