Selfie photography isn’t a phase. When it first became popular, some people thought (and hoped) it would die off, but it hasn’t, and that’s because it’s not going to. Once celebrities got into the game, it was here to stay.

So it makes sense that smartphone manufacturers would tailor their phones towards that specific end, which seems to be what Sony did with the Xperia XA Ultra, part of a new line that they unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2016. The Xperia XA Ultra has a 16-megapixel front camera. The rear camera is bigger still at 21.5 megapixels, but front camera will cover all your selfie needs and then some.

Forgetting the high megapixel count, what really matters is that both cameras have image stablization, which will help take brighter picutres in low-light conditions. That’s the real reason you need this phone when you go out on the town at night, but it’s the high megapixel count that will turn heads.
