As may have become obvious over the last couple of years, I’ve been working in the entertainment industry since I got out of high school. Which means I spend an inordinate amount of time standing in front of speakers of all types during sound check and shows. Long ago I learned the value of high-quality ear plugs, because you only really get one set of ears.
