Samsung has officially pulled the curtain up on their new flip smartphone, the Galaxy Folder 2. Quick, everyone forget about all the leaks you saw and act surprised!

It’s called the folder because it folds, get it? It’s for people like me who still think flip phones are awesome but have grown too dependent on the features offered by modern smartphones. The specs are as follows: 3.8-inch TFT WVGA display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage expandable via MicroSD (128GB), 5MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear-facing camera, 1950mAh battery, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Samsung hasn’t announced pricing for the phone yet, nor have they announced availability, though don’t count on seeing the device outside of China. Would you buy something like this? Could you see flip phones coming back into style? The major benefit seems to be that your screen would always be protected by default, but you’d be sacrificing a lot of screen real estate.
