Straight from Berlin comes news of the two newest members of Samsung’s Galaxy Note line – the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge.

The Galaxy Note 4 keeps the same 5.7-inch screen sign as its predecessor. Phones can only get so big, after all. The screen is a Quad HD Super AMOLED display and users can access their applications through full, split, or pop-up screens. The Note 4 also sports a 16MP rear camera with a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer. The 3.7MP front camera uses a 120 degree wide angle lens so you can make sure everyone shows up in your group selfie. It runs on Android KitKat with a 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 3GB RAM. It has 32GB of internal memory and a microSD slot that can take card as big as 64GB. The Galaxy Note 4 will be available in October in “Charcoal Black,” “Frost White,” “Bronze Gold,” and “Blossom Pink.”

Samsung’s press release offers far less information about the Galaxy Note Edge, outling the core specs while discussing its “unique curved Edge screen” that will allow the user to quickly access frequently used apps and functions. The specs are pretty similar to the Note 4. Just like the Note, it will run on KitKat with a 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 3GB RAM. The cameras on the Edge feature the same amount of megapixels as the Note’s cameras. The display is just a touch smaller at 5.6 inches. The Galaxy Note Edge’s selling point seems to be its innovative design, specifically its Edge screen.

The Galaxy Note Edge will be available later this year and it will come in just “Charcoal Black” and “Frost White.”
