Where’s that Ron Paul “it’s happening” gif when you need it? If the rumors prove to be true, we’re finally getting a foldable display (and on a flagship phone) with the Samsung Galaxy X. Codenamed “Winner,” (because why wouldn’t it be?) the phone will sport a 7-inch display and fold in half like a wallet.

While in its folded state, there will be a small display on the exterior, and the other side will have cameras, so you’ll be able to take pictures while the phone is folded. The phone will reportedly feature a high-capacity battery that utilizes cutting-edge battery technology to offer as much as 6,000mAh.

The Galaxy X is expected to make its grand debut at CES 2019, which will take place in Las Vegas in January. A release window is unknown, but the phone will likely be sold in South Korea before it goes wide and makes its way west.

There’s no shortage of stellar smartphones on the market, but this might be the first time in a long time that people can get legitimately excited about a new phone. We have no idea how well this technology will work, and curiosity isn’t that different from excitement. Expect more updates from us as they leak out, as our anticipation is off the charts.
