Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Coming in Blue Coral Too? Michael Kwan July 4, 2016 News It used to be that your phone would come in black. And then it was groundbreaking when your phone came in white. These days, you’ve got silvers and greys, golds and rose golds, but very few companies are venturing into bolder color options aside from a handful of Lumias. Samsung might dare to be different with the upcoming Galaxy Note 7, as we’ve come across a leaked image of the phablet in Blue Coral. We’ve already learned a lot about this upcoming phone from when we still knew it as the Galaxy Note 6. Samsung is jumping ahead a number, similar to what Microsoft did with Windows 10, for some rather inexplicable reason. Maybe it’s to keep up with Apple again. Maybe it’s to align the numbering scheme with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Who knows? Perennial image leaker Evan Blass was back to his evleak-ing ways again on Twitter with the tweet and image embedded below. It shows off the Galaxy Note 7 in Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral, the last of which is like a lighter sky blue. You’ll notice the slightly rounded glass, possibly indicating that the Galaxy Note 7 could borrow a page from the S7 edge. Other highlights could include an iris scanner, a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, 64GB of storage, IP68, 12MP camera, 5MP front camera, and a new TouchWiz interface. We’ve already seen renders of the deep blue iPhone 7 and now we’ve got a Blue Coral Samsung too. The Galaxy Note 7 should be revealed on August 2 at a special Samsung Unpacked event.
