Samsung to Debut Tizen OS at Mobile World Congress Dylan Duarte January 24, 2014 Those chompin’ at the bit for Samsung’s Tizen OS will be happy to know that the company has confirmed that its official debut for next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It won’t actually be released until later this year, but on February 23rd, Samsung will give us a good look at what we should expect. The Samsung NX-300M smart camera is as of yet the only device currently using the OS, but Tizen phones are supposedly on the way. When they’ll hit the US is anybody’s guess. South Korea will see some Tizen releases this year. The event scheduled for next month promises a sneak preview at “Tizen devices,” suggesting that we’ll see more than just one phone. Tizen fans need to remain patient, as so much is currently unknown, but at least we’ll know more after next month. via MobileBurn Share This With The World!
