Google has been pushing their Google Wallet feature pretty hard, recently giving it a major overhaul, which resulted in compatibility with all major credit cards. While that’s a big benefit to the service, it’s nothing compared to what the company may be planning next.

According to Android-centric news site Android Police, they recently got an anonymous tip regarding a physical Google Wallet card. The card will work just like any other and when you swipe it, it will act like whatever card you currently have selected as your default. It will supposedly work anywhere major credit cards are accepted.

While I admittedly don’t see much reason to adopt the new card – after all, it’s not difficult to carry multiple cards – my unbridled love for Google makes me happy to see them possibly becoming a major contender in another arena.

Of course, this isn’t confirmed, but it seems pretty legit. Head over to Android Police to see a plethora of pictures supporting this new rumor.
