So, the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have some of the biggest displays among modern smartphones. The phablet trend is real. But what if you yearn for the days when your phone could still fit comfortably in your pocket? You don’t need to dumb it down to the new Nokia 3310. You can go small and be smart with the Posh Mobile Micro X S240 instead. Maybe it needs a smaller name.

Positioned as the smallest smartphone in the world, the Micro X S240 lives up to its name with a 2.4-inch TFT LCD. Yup, it’s not going to win any spec wars, but at least it’s a smartphone. It might be running on software from 2013 (Android 4.4 KitKat) and it might only have a 2MP camera (with a VGA selfie cam), but it’s so small!

The smallness continues with a dual-core Mediatek chip, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage, and a 650mAh battery. But hey, it’s so small! And you get “Posh Apps” too, as well as FM radio and $15 in Uber credit. So, that’s something.

The Posh Mobile Micro X S240 measures 3.5 x 1.88 x 0.46 inches and ships unlocked with support for 850/1900/2100 GSM bands. Find it on Amazon for about $50, depending on the color (pink is currently the cheapest, as of this writing). I can’t help but chuckle a little at the Amazon page, though, what with the “View larger” link underneath the image that shows that 2.4″ screen.
