Anyone who’s been with Sony since the first PlayStation knows about the “Greatest Hits” line. Starting with the PS1, greatest hits titles were given a steep discount and marked with a green label. The PlayStation 2 version of the program switched it to a red label, and the PlayStation 3 took it a step further with a red case. Now the PlayStation 4 equivalent is here with a red label, red case, and using the title PlayStation Hits.

As a way of celebrating the PlayStation 4’s fifth anniversary, starting June 28th a selection of PS4 titles will be reduced to a retail price of $19.99, a third of the normal AAA price of $59.99. The new prices will be available in the US and parts of Canada, and on the PlayStation Store of both countries.

The titles are as follows: Battlefield 4, Bloodborne, Doom, DriveClub, Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, The Last of Us Remastered, LittleBigPlanet 3, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience, Project CARS, Ratchet & Clank, Street Fighter 5, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Yakuza 0, and Yakuza Kiwami.

There are several critically acclaimed titles in that list, though it’s worth noting that some of them can already be obtained for just about twenty bucks through Amazon. Still, the PlayStation Hits program will ensure that they all drop across the board, so those who don’t shop with the online retailer can enjoy the same low price. Hopefully Sony will continue to add to the line up.
