Where would we be without Pelican cases? I’ve written about them before, because their products are absolutely top-notch. Their regular cases are nothing short of amazing, but they keep coming out with these specialized items that leave me even more impressed with them as a company. They’re certainly not cheap, but then you get what you pay for.

This newest line is backpacks. These are lightweight sport backpacks, and there are four different styles. Each one is made of rip-stop nylon and features either a crushproof and watertight hard case or a rigid compartment where you can store your laptop, phone, tablet, or whatever else is important to you. As with all of their products, they rely on the same tough specs used in Pelican’s military applications, so you know your devices will be safe no matter what you throw at them.

There are two Elite models, each of which features a crushproof Pelican case to keep your laptop or other larger devices safe. The case features Pelican’s military-grade rubber O-ring and pressurized seal to keep water, dust and dirt away from your electronics. They also come with a set of four adhesive memory foam inserts to ensure a custom fit for your devices. There are some minor differences between the two Elite models which you’ll want to check out in more detail before purchasing one, but their prices are about $240.00 US to $270.00 US.

The two less expensive models do not feature a hard case, but they still provide impact protection for the gadgets they hold. They each have an impact-protective frame, and each one has an integrated laptop or tablet sleeve. The laptop model is going for around $140.00 US, while the tablet model will run you just $110.00 US.
