OPUS Hotel Vancouver Gives Free iPhones to Guests Michael Kwan July 6, 2012 Oh, you thought having an Amazon Kindle in your hotel room was pretty swanky? You ain’t seen nothing yet. Hit up the decidedly upscale OPUS Hotel in Vancouver and you’ll find that they’re giving guests a free iPhone to use during their stay. Instead of having a regular landline telephone in your hotel room, you’ll find that there is an iPhone in the dock. It’s been customized to give you quick access to the different hotel services, like room service or concierge. The kicker is that you can take this iPhone with you when you explore Vancouver, since all incoming and local calls are free. If you book your stay through the OPUS Vancouver website, you get free wireless data too. Of course, when we say “free,” we really mean to say “included” with your stay. The OPUS is pretty posh, demanding about $300 a night. This is the same place where we talked to Samsung about the Galaxy Note and with Microsoft about the Zune, so yeah, we speak from experience. This place is fancy. Via Hotel Chatter Share This With The World!
