OnePlus 3 is a High-End Phone at a Mid-Tier Price Dylan Duarte June 14, 2016 News The OnePlus 3 is the Chinese manufacturer’s fourth handset in a little over two years. The little company that could continues to impress with a phone that supposedly gives higher-end Android phones a run for their money while coming in at a significantly cheaper price point. And best of all, you don’t need an invite for this one! The OnePlus 3 gives you a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 AMOLED pixel display (not 2k, though), which isn’t as high resolution as the Galaxy’s Note 5’s 2560 x 1440, but it’s the same screen as the iPhone 6s Plus. You get a USB-C port, a unibody build (no more sandstone back), super-fast dash charging, a quad-core 820 processor, and 6GB of RAM. Other top tier flagships only have 4GB of RAM, making this one of the first major handsets to pack an extra two in there. On top of all that you get 64GB of storage, dual-SIM slots, NFC, and a 3,000 mAh battery. There’s no microSD slot, so you’ll have to be mighty selective with your selfies. Or, you know, just put them in the cloud. The phone costs $399 USD and $519 CAD, quite a bit less than the competition, and OnePlus is hoping that makes the differences. Below are a couple YouTube reviews that should give you an idea of what to expect in terms of quality. Share This With The World!
