Canada is about to get just a little bit cooler (no pun intended) as Cisco announced the May 27th availability of the E-series. Cisco’s Linksys routers have been the standard to measure all other routers for years. Their new E-series of routers is the same great Cisco service with new technology and a sexy new look.

The E-series of Linksys routers have been redesigned from the ground up with home use in mind. Instead of a single design with increases in range and/or power, the E-series focuses on the needs of current home networks. This includes built-in media center services, dual simultaneous dual-band networks, up to 450 Mbps over wireless, USB shared device services, and more.

There are eight new products in the Linksys family – five routers and three switches. The suggested retail prices for the routers range from $59.99 to $189.99. Prices of the switches range from $34.99 to $74.99. The full line of Linksys routers is available now, while the switches will be available in June. Consumers can find these products at retailers nationwide, online retailers and the Linksys store.

This is nothing new for our US readers, but this is all new for Canada. For more details about the routers, I will just borrow the video below from our parent site Futurelooks.com. I am sure they won’t mind.
