Motorola Unveiling the Moto X Phone at August 1 Event Dylan Duarte July 19, 2013 News The Moto X, the new phone from Motorola, has been talked about for months. Various rumors and speculations, mixed with tidbits of knowledge, have been popping up all over the Internet. Soon, however, we’ll be able to talk about official specs, as Motorola will be officially unveiling the phone at a press event on August 1st in New York City. What we know is that the phone will run on an Android and come in a variety of colors, including the standard black and white. Customization will be big. It will be the first Motorola phone built under Google’s watch. The phones will be assembled at a Texas-based plant, allowing for faster shipping to customers. The phone is expected to launch on all major US carriers and may be as cheap as $199 off-contract, but none of that is certain.
