Microsoft Offering $200 and Up for Used iPads Dylan Duarte September 13, 2013 I believe that “shots fired” is what the kids are saying nowadays to describe something like this. Microsoft is accepting trade-ins of gently used iPad 2, 3, and 4 models towards a Microsoft gift card, starting at a minimum of $200 with an unknown value cap. The downside is that the trade must happen in an actual Microsoft store, of which there aren’t a whole lot. Still, it’s an appealing option for anyone looking to swap their iPad for a Microsoft Surface, though I don’t know if those people actually exist. Microsoft is clearly hoping that they do. The promotion runs from September 5th to October 27th, well after the proposed Surface 2 launch event on September 23rd. Hopefully the Surface 2 will be a much bigger hit than its predecessor and Microsoft will have a fair amount of success with this trade-in deal of theirs. via BGR Share This With The World!
