Love Reading? How About a Hydra Two-Headed Book Lamp? Beth Snyder March 12, 2011 For those of you like me who will probably never buy an e-reader, who thoroughly enjoy sitting down with an actual book and turning actual pages, this is for you. Because if you’re like me, you have spent an inordinate amount of time reading in out-of-the-way, ill-lit, inconvenient places. You’ve probably also bought every variety of book lamp that’s hit the market. Is it just me, or are they all missing something? It never occurred to me that having a light over each side of an open book was exactly what I’d always wanted until I saw this. And now I must have one. The Hydra Book Light is mounted on your book using a 3-inch clip that will tuck into the spine of a hardcover or cover of a paperback. Each head features an LED bulb and a 5-inch adjustable neck. It requires two AAA batteries (not included). That’s all there is to it…simple, just like a book. It’s currently on backorder, but you can still get one for just $15.00 US.
