Lg Optimus Vu Coming to U.S. Dylan Duarte August 13, 2012 The LG Optimus Vu–LG’s half-tablet, half-smartphone freak of nature (and unofficial competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note)–has sold half a million units in South Korea. With that milestone being reached, LG is bringing the Vu to the United States next month. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses of phablets yearning to breathe free. The 5-inch Vu doesn’t have a specific release date, at least not one that’s been made public, but sources say that LG wants it here by the end of Q3, which would be the end of September. A carrier has yet to be announced, but SlashGear did some legwork pointing to a possible launch at Verizon Wireless. The LG Optimus Vu boasts 32GB of memory, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. via Slash Gear Share This With The World!
