What a rollercoaster week this has been! First I celebrated Labor Day by showing my jewelry in the craft show at our local Labor Fest, and not only did I make sales I came home to find I’d made a large sale of several pieces of Etsy. Then I found out “my” neighbourhood bar has been sold and the new owners are letting my favourite bartender go (he’s been the general manager there for 26 years). Then I was pleasantly surprised by an incredibly fun road crew for a concert I was expecting to be ugly and heavy that turned out to not be a bad day at all. Then it was September 11th, and that’s a day I’ll never be able to handle without crying. So I gave myself an internet vacation (I just now took my laptop out of the bag, where it’s been since I left work on Friday), and as soon as I’m done here I’m heading out to watch football the rest of the day.
