LEGO Working on Doctor Who Playset Dylan Duarte February 4, 2015 Just a few days ago we told you about LEGO’s upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier playset, and now those brightly colored, nostalgia-laden blocks are back in the news. This time it’s a certain Time Lord getting the LEGO treatment. LEGO will be producing a “Doctor Who and Companions” set thanks to an outpouring of fan support and suggestions. It’s still in the planning stages, so there are very few details available yet, but LEGO promises that those details are coming and they’ll be revealed on the their official YouTube channel sometime this year. In the video below you can see some images of what the set might look like, but those are fan-made images, not the official thing. This is part of a the new LEGOS Ideas project, in which the company is letting fans vote for potential LEGO sets that they’d like to see. They’re also producing a Wall-E set and considering Jurassic Park and further Lord of the Rings sets. To be honest, I’m surprised it took them this long to get to Doctor Who. I’m not a Whovian myself, but it’s up there at the top of shows that I need to watch. I’m sure our own Beth Snyder will be very happy. via The Verge Share This With The World!
