Kurt Russell in Talks for Fast and Furious Dylan Duarte August 30, 2013 While this is MEGATechNews, and the link between tech and Fast and Furious is perhaps a little tenuous, my experience tells me the crossover between tech and car geeks is pretty substantial. Plus, it’s Friday and it’s Labor Day weekend, so let’s kick this sucker off with a bang. First there was news that James Wan, the director behind Saw and the recent The Conjuring, would be helming the next installment in the Fast and Furious franchise. He’s an excellent filmmaker and it’s always interesting when artists reach beyond their comfort zones. Now the news is out that Kurt Russell is in talks to join Fast and Furious 7, taking the role that was originally meant for Denzel Washington. I’m not a car guy and I’ve never been the biggest fan of the Fast and Furious movies, but I’ve been enjoying the heck out of them since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined the cast, so with Wan and possibly Russell coming onboard also, I’m pumped. via The Verge Share This With The World!
