Kindle Paperwhite on Sale for $40 Off, Lowest Price Ever Michael Kwan July 7, 2017 News Check it out! You don’t have to wait until Prime Day (which starts a few hours early this year at 9PM Eastern on July 10th) to score an awesome deal from Amazon. If you’ve been itching to get your hands on a Kindle Paperwhite, now is the time to do it because Amazon has discounted the popular e-reader to its lowest price ever. Over on Amazon.ca, you’ll find the Kindle Paperwhite on sale for $40 off. That’s in Canadian dollars, of course, and it’s for the Wi-Fi Only model. The 6-inch e-reader with its built-in light isn’t exactly new anymore, but I’d still argue it’s the best bang-for-your-buck option among the company’s lineup and among e-readers in general. Yes, you could spend more cash on the Kindle Voyage or Kindle Oasis, but it’s hard to justify the difference in price when the Kindle Paperwhite is such a solid choice for so much less money. There’s a catch, of course. In order to get the Kindle Paperwhite for $99.99 on Amazon.ca, you will need to have Amazon Prime. If you don’t have Prime, sign up for the free 30-day trial and score the deal that way. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck paying the full $139.99 regular price. This deal is only for Canadians too, apparently. Our American cousins to the south aren’t completely out of luck, though. While you can’t get $40 off the Paperwhite on its own, you can pick up the Kindle Paperwhite Travel Bundle for $70 off instead. That throws in the Amazon Premium Leather Cover, power adapter, and caseable travel bag. That’s a total value of about $270 for about $200. Share This With The World!
