iPad Pro Display Issues Gets Apple’s Attention Dylan Duarte November 20, 2015 News Freezegate? Deadgate? Hard-resetgate? It’s not a real controversy if we can’t think of a good word to throw on the “gate” suffix. The iPad Pro has been out a little over a week and the first major issue has surfaced. Dozens of users are experiencing a problem with the tablet freezing on a black screen after attempting to charge it for a prolonged period of time. To get the tablet to “wake up,” they have to force restart it by holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for ten seconds. Apple has acknowledged the issue and is investigating it. In the meantime, they’ve instructed users who experience the issue to follow the above instructions. These issues seem to be exclusive to the iPad Pro, as no other iOS devices are having the same problem. Hopefully Apple is able to figure out what’s wrong and issue a patch sooner rather than later. Having to hard reset your iPad Pro every time you charge it would get tiring really quickly. Share This With The World!
