iPad Air 2 Specs Leak Prior To October 16th Apple Event Dylan Duarte October 6, 2014 On Friday I said that Apple is likely having an event on October 16th at which they’ll unveil the new iPad. As far as everyone knows, that’s still the case, but if you’re as impatient as the rest of us you can check out all of the leaked iPad Air 2 details right here. Keep in mind, this is a leak, meaning that some or all of this could prove to be untrue. What am I saying? This is the Internet! Everything you read here is true! The iPad Air 2, like the iPhone, will have a “full-laminated display” resulting in an iPad that’s 0.5mm slimmer than its predecessor. Other physical changes will include a redesigned speaker grille, recessed volume buttons, relocated microphones (moving from the top of the device to the side, next to the back camera), and a gold color option. The device will also have a better screen, though how exactly is unknown. The iPad Air 2 will have an A8 processor, 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, FaceTime HD front camera, and a Touch ID fingerprint button that works with Apple Pay. There will be 32, 64, and 128GB versions. There will also be a new Retina iPad mini model that may come in a 16GB version. The Michael Report supposedly recieved pictures of the new tablet but decided not to post them online. If you pick up a gold model you can have the thinnest, bling-iest tablet around! via BGR Share This With The World!
