We thought that the whole Bendgate fiasco with the iPhone 6 Plus was getting a little blown out of proportion. Then, it got followed up by the so-called Gapgate with the Galaxy Note 4. Customers in South Korea were reporting that there was a big gap between the frame and the screen of the Note 4, big enough to fit a business card or two. Then, we learned that this was a “feature” of the phone, according to Samsung.

Well, we had the opportunity to meet up with the folks at Samsung Canada last week and we’ll have a fuller video from that briefing–including our hands-on session with the new Galaxy Note 4, plus the already launched Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy S5 Active–very soon. In the meantime, we wanted to share our own experience with Bendgate and Gapgate on the new phablet. People are bending and breaking the iPhone 6 Plus, but does the Galaxy Note 4 hold up to the pressure? And is there really a gap of galactic proportions along the sides?

Watch the video embedded here and find out for yourself! Stay tuned for our more complete Samsung overview video, as well as the full written review of the Galaxy Note 4 very soon.
