Huawei Honor View 10 Ships March 23 for $499 (Pre-Orders Now) Michael Kwan March 12, 2018 News It’s a theme that’s coming up again and again. Good phones are getting cheaper and cheap phones are getting better. If you can’t get past those security warnings from the folks at the CIA and FBI, then you could be landing a pretty good deal on the new Huawei Honor View 10 smartphone that was originally announced back at CES in Las Vegas. Pre-orders for the Honor View 10 by Huawei are being taken starting today and the phone itself will launch on March 23 for $499. That’s next week. Also known more simply as the Huawei V10, the Honor View 10 offers a lot of a value for a phone that costs half as much as competing flagships. For the $500 price point, you get the same Kirin 970 processor as the flagship Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The OLED display is swapped out for an LCD, but you still get a near bezel-free design, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Oh, and there’s a headphone jack too. The dual camera configuration on the back remains, so you get a 16MP primary shooter backed by a 20MP monochrome camera. Rounding out the specs is the sizable 3,750 mAh battery. Now the question is whether you’d rather spend your $500 on a new Honor View 10 or you pick up something like the OnePlus 5T or the Essential Phone for about the same. Share This With The World!
